Thursday Practice!

The 22nd Cactus Classic has begun at Scottsdale R/C Speedway in Scottsdale, Ariz, a suburb of Phoenix. Some will say it is the most important race in the U.S. and it certainly is among the top three. One reason for its importance is attendance by top drivers from all over the world. Several former world champions and both reigning champs are here the weekend, including Jared Tebo and Hayato Matsuzaki, Neil Cragg, Ryan Cavalieri, and Brian Kinwald. Other major drivers include Euros champion Hupo Honigl driving for Tamiya and X Factory, Jorn Neuman, Peter Pinish, Ryan Maifield, MIke Truhe, Billy Fischer, Jesse Robbers, and Travis Amezcua. Yokomo has sent a full contingent from Japan, and many other Japanese drivers are here as well.

We'll have more info as soon as the first rounds of qualifying are over Friday night Phoenix time.
