Ellis Stafford drove his X - 5 to victory in the second BRCA National of the year at Ozwestry. He qualified second behind Chris Doughty winning one qualifier and taking second in the other three. Stafford brought the X - 5 home second in A-1, had a poor race in A-2, then charged home to win A-3 and with it the race.

Also in the A main with his new X - 5 was Tom Cockerill, who just joined the X-Team this year.
