CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS WITH 4WDRC ARE SAFE

Headlines June 20th spoke of a credit card processing company which has allowed information on over 40 million credit cards to be compromised in an attack by hackers seeking to steal identities. According to the Drudge Report, the processing company involved is CardSystems Solutions.

WE DO NOT USE THAT COMPANY. NONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS ' CARDS HAVE BEEN PROCESSED BY THAT COMPANY.

In order to take customer's credit cards for internet sales (have a shopping cart) any small company needs to contract with a credit card processor who provides a secure site, handles the transaction from the customer to the credit card company, and deposits the money in the small company's bank account.

In our case, we use two different but related companies: LinkPoint Central provides our shopping cart, and SecureNetShop processes the orders. The umbrella company is MerchantBanCard.

AS FAR AS WE KNOW, THESE COMPANIES HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP to CardSystems Solutions.

AS FAR AS WE KNOW, NO X-FACTORY CUSTOMER'S INFORMATION HAS BEEN COMPROMISED BY OUR SECURE SITE PROVIDORS. Whether you have ordered through our secure store or sent your card info to us for manual processing, we believe your info is secure.

If we learn of any possible breach, we promise to tell everybody the moment we learn of it. If you have any questions, please contact us by any method listed on the Contact page.
