X Factory and Hot Rod Hobbies
are proud to announce the 4WD Factory Challenge race to be held in
with the regular program at the 8th Annual Hot Rod Hobby Shoot-Out.
Teams of drivers from Losi, BJ, and X Factory will run a 5-minute
race for cash prizes in addition to the regular Shoot-Out race program.
From Team Losi: Billy Easton, Matt Francis, Travis Amezcua, and Jesse Robbers. Easton, Francis, and Robbers will drive xx-4s, while Amezcua will drive his xxx-4. Driving BJ 4X4s will be: Ryan Cavalieri, Jared Tebo, Ryan Maifield, and Dave Montgomery. And representing X Factory will be Greg Hodapp and Paul Sinclair driving their X - 5s. The race will be held about 2:00 PM on Sunday July 10, just after the gas watm-up. That puts it about an hour after A main #2 in the regular Shoot-Out program so any broken cars from that main can be repaired, and well before A main #3, for the same reason. X Factory R/C Racing Products is sponsoring cash prizes for this race: $100 to the winner, $50 for second, and $25 for third. Starting positions will be drawn by lot as the drivers take the stand, amd then it's one race for the $$$. Stay tuned... |
