We've received our xx-4 kits and are madly ripping them apart to make X - 5 Entire Car kits. We are disappointed to find several things that, in our opinion, are not up to "World's" standards. The WE kits do have threaded shocks with Ti-Nitride shafts, as we expected, but all the hinge pins are steel. The WE kit has Ti turnbuckles, but the ball studs are steel. And the kit has all dogbones, no CVDs and all plastic outdrives.(Many racers prefer steel.) |

So, what are we to do? We premised our $499 price on the idea that we would take apart WE kits, re-bag the parts into our bag sequence and, presto! an X - 5. We can, and are, doing this, and they're ready to go now at $499 including a set of red tapers front and rear. |
We're including front CVDs -- you just can't run without them -- even though that's about $30 extra cost to us. But we can't do that and also absorb the cost of Ti ball studs (14 @ $4), rear CVDs (another $30) and a 1-way ($60), so the $499 kit will contain only what's in the xx-4WE kit plus the front CVDs. To those who expected our Entire Car to come with these Team upgrades we apologize -- we thought they'd be there and jumped the gun based on our erroneous assumption. When the Entire Car was $699, it included all that stuff. |

After Christmas we'll look into costs on the Team items and offer a Team kit at the lowest possible price.
