SEND US YOUR PODCASTS! WE'LL PUT THEM UP!

IT'S EASY! YOU CAN DO THIS!

Anyone can do a podcast, about almost anything. You'll notice we talk about riding in rental cars & getting lost, what kind of soda pop we like (and don't like), etc. etc. etc. Just get something about 4WD R/C in there someplace, keep it clean, and do it in English. You can do it yourself, you can interview someone else or more than one person, a group can do the podcast, it doesn't matter.

We are not professional broadcasters -- whatever comes out is just fine. You should not be using an high-quality professional mike, and you definitely should not be in a studio -- background noise and static are par for the course. Leaving long pauses as you search for something to say is almost required.

They can be as short as 30 seconds or as long as you like. You can get your podcasts to us in two ways:

1) Put them on a standard audio cassette and mail it to us at the address on the Contact page. Send us as many cassettes as you like, as many times as you want.

2) Record them digitally and E-mail them to chazz@4wdrc.com . My dial-up service has trouble with big files, so if your podcast is longer than 4 minutes, make two or three files and we'll put them back together. Again, you can send as many as you want, as often as you want.

This is becoming the new way to communicate; we think it might replace the forums. We imagine a "podcast forum" where there are categories and threads, and people send in their podcast/posts. Hearing the person's voice makes the statement more personal and, therefore, more powerful. Let's make it happen right here on 4WDRC.com!
