"At the 2003 Hot Rod Shoot Out, I drove my XX4 in qualifiers 1 and 4. I drove my XXX4 in qualifiers 2 and 3. I used the same motor for both cars. Lap times and race time were almost identical. The XXX4 would get a big lead on the straightaway, but the XX4 made it all up on the rest of the highly technical Hot Rod track. We knew then, that if we could combine the best of both cars, we would have something special."
